EP Petroecuador invites international market participants to take part in a non-binding Request for Information (RFI) to identify liquefied natural gas (LNG) supply alternatives that can help meet Ecuador’s growing natural gas demand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The RFI is intended to assess the interest and capabilities of prospective suppliers to provide LNG under an indicative long-term contractual framework, and to gather market feedback and proposals on the technical and commercial aspects under consideration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bridging the natural gas supply-demand gap<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ecuador’s domestic natural gas production, sourced entirely from the Amistad field, continues to support the country’s energy needs. Against a backdrop of growing demand, Ecuador is assessing alternatives to expand available supply, including imported volumes of 60 to 100 MMscfd<\/strong>, supporting a more diversified, resilient and sustainable supply portfolio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
